If I set the proxy configuration at automatic with an intranet URL
http://iegateway/ie.proxy, it does not configure the proxy servers and I am
unable to cross the fire-wall.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set the proxy configuration to automatic with the URL http://iegateway/ie.proxy

Actual Results:  
Gets Unresolved host name error.

Expected Results:  
Be able to configure the proxy settings.

please reopen if you see this with 1.4RC1 or later builds
(or if you installed 1.4b in a emtpy directory and not over an existing older build)

If you use a full domain name (iegateway.defaultdomain) in the PAC URL does this
work?

Also, what is the exact error message you get? When does this happen, when you
press "okay" in prefs, or when you try to surf to a web site?
