User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 If I define a new item in the "View" popdown menu (the one to the left of "Subject or Sender contains" field at the top of the window), it doesn't work. What I tried to accomplish was to sort view mail that had bin marked by SpamAssasin on the serverside by looking for the SpamAssin specific custom headers in the mail. If I select my new entry nothing gets selected Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select "customize..." from the "View" popup menu. 2.Select "New" from the dialog that shows up 3.Fill in a name in the "Message view name" field e.g. SPAM 4.Select "customize..." in the leftmost popup menu 5.A dialog shows up. Fill in the header name e.g X-Spam-Flag 6 Press "Add" 7. Press "OK" 8. You are now back in the "Message View setup" dialog 9. The new header entry doesn't show as it should 10. I tried to close the dialog and reepen it once again 11. Now SPAM is avaliable from the popup menu 12 Select the new X-Spam-Flag header you just addet 13 Select contains in the next popup 14 Fill in YES in the last field. Actual Results: No mail shows up even if there are plenty of mails marked with X-Spam-Flag: YES headers in the imap mailbox I was trying this on. Expected Results: Listed the mails matching the conditon i.e. mails having a X-Spam-Flag: YES set
This appears to be a duplicate of bug 205501. Uno Engborg, please check that bug to confirm whether this is a dupe. That bug discusses IMAP mail; for my POP mail account, MailViews works as expected on custom headers. Incidentally, be sure you have the right name for the header! If you're using SpamAssassin, the headers are X-Spam-Status and X-Spam-Level, not X-Spam-Flag.
This is an imap bug. What extra headers you get from SpamAssasin depends on the settings of that program. I have checked the mailbox files, the X-Spam-Flag headers really do exist. So sorry, this is a real Mozilla bug not a typo in my header name. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 205501 ***
