Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021210 Debian/1.2.1-3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021210 Debian/1.2.1-3

If mozilla dies by any other means than the quit menu item (such as a crash or
kill -9), then the following happens:

- all browser history appears to be wiped out completely
- any bookmarks added in the current session are destroyed

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start mozilla, browse a bit, add some bookmarks
2. kill -9 mozilla minutes, days or weeks after
3. history is gone, added bookmarks are gone for this session

Expected Results:

Browser history and bookmarks should be updated when changed, so that a crash
will not wipe out current changes. Furthermore, the history seems to be
completely wiped out if any crash or unclean exit occurs, so something fishy
seems to be happening with it.

This problem exists for the posted version, and bookmarks were tested with
Mozilla 1.4rc1.
