209425 - News threads change to 'as read' after mail download

Upon opening mozilla-mail, mail begins to download and I usually have about 160
to download. While it is downloading I open up a newsgroup, download the headers
and begin to read the news while the pop-mail is continuing to download. The
problem begins while I'm in the news area reading an article and the pop-mail
download completes. Upon completion of the pop-mail download, all the new
newsthreads just downloaded automatically change to 'as read' from oldest to
newest. This also happened with 1.4rc1 and appears to be he same with this build.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.begin to download mail (must have a certain amount to upload).
2.Download a news group while pop mail is still downloading and stay there till
pop mail has completed downloading.


Actual Results:  
When pop mail finished downloading, news threads changed to 'as read'  from
oldest to newest threads until all recent news downloads were changed to 'as read'.

Expected Results:  
News threads should have remained as 'not read' which looks like a bold lettering.

I wasn't sure which component this should be logged against vas it affects news
but is impacted or initiated by pop-mail.
