User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Searching newsgroups and bugzilla for hints about how to increase performance on calendar, I nothing but others also rating the performance as poor. It takes about 10 seconds to open an appointment, and I only have about 200 entries, including annual and weekly ones, which would expand to about 400 per year. My box is a Athlon XP2100 with 512MB RAM, so I see no HW bottleneck. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create lots of appointments (200+), including weekly, monthly and annual ones 2. Open an appointment for editing Actual Results: 10 seconds wait, where no Mozilla component meaning neither browser nor mailer nor calendar responds. Expected Results: Open appointment with less latency and not prevent from working with the rest of Mozilla in the meantime.
Sorry, I made a mistake: Not *opening* is the problem - although it has a relatively long latency - but *closing* with OK: endless seconds where Mozilla seems to be near dead. Best Joachim
