Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312

When I connect to POP3 server it requests my password. My password is empty
(null , no password, I don't have one, no characters etc.) I click the remeber
password check box. I retrieve my mail successfully. I check my mail 10
minutes later and it prompts for my password again. If I click OK or CANCEL it
will retrieve my mail but it will not remeber an empty password

PS Outlook Express remembers empty passwords fine

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click get mail
2. do not enter a passworfd (that is the password)
3. click remeber password check box
4. click OK
5. it will not remember password
Actual Results:
It prompts me to enter a password

Expected Results:
Remember the password. A password of zero length is a valid password for POP3
why is it not a valid password for Mozilla?
