User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 I can log onto etrade but hanging onto that login is tenuous. As I switch from page to page I will get that I'm logged out and then I'm dead in the water. I switched over to IE which worked fine. In my case I have two accounts, switching to the second account on the account page pull down was a guarantee of being told that I'm not logged in. It happened with just moving page to page though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in 2. Go to the accounts page 3. Select A second one. Actual Results: Tells me I'm logged out. Expected Results: Gone to the account page.
Can you check what your cookie preferences are? And is there anything in your block list for cookies? You might also want to try a clean profile, to make sure that it is not some wrong setting somewhere in the inner depths of the preferences window.
I have since created a fresh profile which had allow all cookies turned on and the behavior was exactly the same.
I found bug 200986, which looks the same problem. Marking as a dup for now, please reopen if you disagree. Thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 200986 ***
