Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030617 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030617 When clicking on a mailto: href in an html page, I will see an alert box which tells me that "is not a registered protocol". Placing the mouse cursor over the link will show a colon (":") in the status line. When I click on such a link in Safari I will see the same alert. I have configured Mozilla as my default mail application. In this case the alert box is difficult to quit: I have to select the "Alert" window from the menu and hit Return. Clicking on the "OK" button will not work. After quitting, a new Browser window will open with the mailto: URL in the localization field. This may be related to bug #58826. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on any mailto: link 2. 3. Actual Results: When clicking on a mailto: href in an html page I will see an alert box which tells me that "is not a registered protocol". Expected Results: A Compose window should open, and the address given in the mailto: URL should be copied into the TO: field. My mozilla files live in a UFS partition. Changing themes does not fix this bug.
