Erik, does Talkback catch the crash? If so, did you allow to send the crash
information back? Next, did you try to reproduce the problem using latest
MozillaFirebird build together with a vanilla profile? You can download latest
nightly from
http://komodo.mozilla.org/pub/firebird/nightly/latest-trunk/MozillaFirebird-win32.zip
By calling MozillaFirebird.exe with option "-p" you should also create a second,
vanilla profile without any extensions / themes in order to avoid problems
caused by an old profile. Note: Your bookmarks and settings don't get touched by
doing so - they stay in your first profile!
Just tried with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030620
Mozilla Firebird/0.6 and this works for me without any crashes, BUT I was not
able to spend much time on that page since nearly all menu entries seem to
require login.
What I did:
- entered the provided URI => page loaded Ok
- clicked 7 - 10 menu entries on the left site and some sub menus => a login
page showed up so I couldn't do some more testing
Hence I'd kindly ask you to check again with latest MozillaFirebird build
installed in a new directory together with a vanilla profile and without
installing any extensions / themes to that new profile.

I did install the latest build Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5a)
Gecko/20030621 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 with a new profile and without any
extensions. Firebird still doesn't like the http://www.nrc.nl/ page. It hangs
soon after the first elements of http://www.nrc.nl/ are displayed somewhere in
the middle of the Firebird window and I cannot close the Window or exit the
program with the taskmanager or with my process manager procexp.exe. Talkback is
not activated.
Windows displays the following error message, announcing a 'partial error in
module <unknown>
