Build: 2003-06-23-05 1.4 Platform: All Expected Results: Pressing the backspace/delete key should remove completely previous character What I got: Portions of deleted characters are still visible. Steps to reproduce: 1) Create a new composer document (or mail compose document). 2) Type out the sample sentence: This is my first attempt. 3) Select the sentence and apply italic and H1 styling. 4) Place carat at the end of sentence and begin to press backspace/delete key 5) Notice that portions of some of the characters remain after they have been "deleted".
To show this problem better, apply the Impact font to the sample sentence (under Windows) and Apple Chancery (under OS X).
Occurs on the following trunk builds: 2003-06-19-08 Macho 2003-06-13-04 Win32
