I'd really like the following features in mail and news in mozilla mail.

Mark message unread
Mark thread unread

This is very basic functionality present in most mail and news clients.  I'd be
grateful if it could be integrated into mozilla.

Message -> Mark -> As Read (shortcut 'M'). It's actually a toggle, not a normal
menu-button. 

You also have Message -> Mark -> Thread As Read (shortcut 'R'). We can't mark a
whole thread as unread though, becuase it's not a toggle (and that's some
serious bad GUI I agree, but don't forget we're switching to Thunderbird soon).
To do this, you need to select the thread (Edit -> Select -> Thread) and mark
then as unread (so ctrl-shift-a + m).
