Maybe this isn't a moz problem... maybe it's a problem with KDE. I dunno. When
I create a new moz window with Ctrl-N, I try to paste something from klipper
into the location bar, and it won't let me.
One thing to note which makes a difference -- I use a Blank Page on New Window
in my prefs.
If I hit Ctrl-Shift-L, my Ctrl-V paste works.
If I switch windows in kde, then come back, Ctrl-V still doesn't work.
If I click within the blank page somewhere, then click back in the location bar,
Ctrl-V works again.
Am I crazy, or can someone see the same problem?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set preference for New Window to display blank page.
2. Select some text somewhere so it's in your klipper buffer.
3. Hit Ctrl-N in mozilla to spawn new window.
4. Hit Ctrl-V.. or right-click and see if Paste is greyed out.
Actual Results:
Same as usual... can't paste.
Expected Results:
It should have let me paste, damnit! ;-)

the steps-to-reproduce as you have described them are INVALID, I think.
ctrl-V and the context menu work with Mozilla's own copy/paste buffer, which is
separate from X's buffer (which is used by selection and middle click).
If you want to use ctrl-V or the context menu's paste, you should use ctrl-C or
copy from the context menu (or edit->copy).
