Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030630 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030630 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 When the "Open in Tabs" feature is used on a bookmark folder containing a bookmark for a site which is not responding, the tab associated to that bookmark remains inactive: the keyboard shortcuts are not effective. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a new bookmark to the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" or to any other bookmark folder which already contains at least a bookmark 2. Edit the newly added bookmark and replace the URL with an inactive site (e.g. an URL which resolves to a host, but for which the webserver is either down or not running. For example http://bugzilla.mozilla.org:1234 ) 3. Navigate to "about:blank" 4. Use the "Open In tabs" function on the bookmarks folder 5. Acknowledge the message box saying the site coul not be opened 6. Click on one of the tabs that opened successfully. 7. Start navigating the tabs with Ctrl-Tab, or close the tabs with Ctrl-W Actual Results: When the inactive tab is reached the address bar displays "about:blank", the background color of the window is "inactive" (the default windows grey) and not the default white for a "about:blank" window, the tab cannot be closed or navigated further with the above shortcuts. Expected Results: The tab should have been closed or navigated through like the other tabs. Closing the tab, or selecting another tab with the mouse works as expected.
A much simpler way to reproduce this bug: perform steps 1 and 2 as described then right cick on the new bookmark and select "Open in new Tab".
