User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; ja-JP; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; ja-JP; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 After the XPI has been successfully installed, mozilla 1.3/1.4 both cannot have the Installed JP Lang/JP Region listed in the Pref,Display,Lang however, after copying the chrome.rdf from the Netscape7.02 into mozilla chrome dir, it works fine at once. I cannot find any error in the installer, not it could point to the profile's specific usr dir for that chrome/setting files *Is it related to the registry entries? Since I have removed everything from the previous mozilla 1.3 dir and start fresh - without uninstalling mozilla 1.3 nor Netscape 4.75 & 7.02 though. I use Netscape 4.75, 7.02 Mozilla 1.3x, now 1.4 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install mozilla 1.3/1.4 with netscape 7.02JP installed 2. install locallized JP xpi (online install/drag and drop the xpi onto mozilla) 3. cannot find any language even after reboot, must replace the chrome.rdf from netscape 7.02jp Actual Results: Mozilla works fine just like the netscape 7 I am happy, and it is n times faster than AOL's netscape thanks original netscape (mozilla guys) Expected Results: have the languages listed in the pref/display/lang I am more than happy to work w you guys to make this work since I have been using netscape (diff platforms) since netscape 1.2 However, since netscape 6, it is REALLY difficult to change my settings and data (email, address book & settings) to my specified dir, (e.g. e:\netscapedata) which made it really hard to backup/mygriate As I need to install/upgrade my own & many users's netscape between machines/platform, it is really important that a easy to change personal folders. your help will be REALLY appreciated regards, Philip
