Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 When you create a new profile, and you type in the name of your new profile, the actual folder pathname of your new profile is shown below where you type in the new profile's name. If you watch how the pathname changes as you key in the characters of the new profile, the first letter isn't echoed, and every letter after that is one character behind. When you get to the end of the profile name, it is missing the last character. For instance, if you were to create a profile called "Mozilla," in the pathname listed below where you type in the new profile name ("Mozilla"), the pathname shows "C:\Blah\Blah\Mozill" instead of "C:\Blah\Blah\Mozilla." The profile is created perfectly fine in the proper folder with the proper name (in this case, "Mozilla"). Mozilla is reading the full profile name fine, but the folder just isn't being displayed correctly. I have tested this on Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and it has been reproduced in both cases. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mozilla Profile Manager 2. Create a new profile 3. After hitting "next," type in the name of your new profile and watch how the pathname being displayed below changes. Actual Results: The pathname displayed was "C:\Blah\Blah\Mozill" Expected Results: The pathname should have been "C:\Blah\Blah\Mozilla"
