I dunno if this is possible or not, but it would be great if Mozilla Mail could
access your hotmail/yahoo mail accounts for free like how Outlook does for hotmail.
I think it uses the http interface and parses out the mail.

Hotmail uses a proprietary protocol that is only understood by Outlook (both
belonging to Microsoft). Unless and until Microsoft releases the specs of this
protocol, this is unlikely to be fixed (though there are some projects for
reverse engineering it).
