Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030712 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030712 There are several keywords I search for in my e-mail, that I know are junk. Spammers have started putting HTML comments in the middle of words. For example "Vi<!--fd76613fa2521-->ag<!--lt5rei3xz5-->ra". When I search message bodies for "Viagra", the message is not found because of the HTML comments. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. e-mail yourself an HTML message with "Vi<!--fd76613fa2521-->ag<!--lt5rei3xz5-->ra" in it. 2. When you see the e-mail all you see is "Viagra", but view source and you see "Vi<!--fd76613fa2521-->ag<!--lt5rei3xz5-->ra" 3. Search message bodies for "Viagra" Actual Results: That message is not found due to the HTML comments. Expected Results: Message should be found Perhaps add a "Body excluding HTML" search choice.
Duping to a later bug, only because that one has already been confirmed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 213614 ***
