Outlook has a feature which we have tried to identify with different opensource
programs but no luck.

In outlook one can see messages by groups. So if one selects view by group
(name) then all the messages in that folder are grouped by name somewhat in this
style

   - Bill gates (2 messages, 0 unread)
      - dated 12/12/12 subject is  
      - dated 12/13/12 promotions

   + Hotmail staff (1 messages, 0 unread)

   + Linus T. (4 messages, 1 unread)

   - Columba Project Leader (1 message, 1 unread)
      - dated ??/??/?? test release


This feature would really enhance the usage of Mozilla Email Client.
