I was using Windows Millenium, and then I backed up my entire profile.
I am now using Windows XP and I have put my profile in the correct location but
Mail does not read it correctly. It either reads just the account names, but
doesn't show the folders (and therefore none of the mail) or it doesn't even
recognize them at all.
The Tools/Import feature does not have support for Mail profiles.

seach google with "Mozilla Profile Backup" and select the entry from mozilla.org ?
