Mozilla is ignoring apostrophies, bolding, underlining, large fonts, colors,
etc. when you select them in the composition.  I have re-checked (numerous
times) my settings in preferences - nothing has been changed.  Instead of
bolding (for example) it puts an * at the beginning and end of the text you want
bolded.  It puts in other symbols for underlining, italics, etc.  This makes the
messages look bad - especially when you are sending them to your superiors. 
Even if you cut and paste a Word document, Mozilla ignores the settings in that
document and sends the message in plain text.  

BTW- your "problem reporting" is VERY overwhelming for the average user, like me.  
Makes you feel like if your not a developer then your problem is not important
enough to be considered.

Expected Results:  
I expected the recipients of my e-mail to see the e-mail exactly as I wanted it
to look - with bolding, underlining, italics, etc...  I also expect my Word doc
that I cut and pasted in the text to look exactly like the original document.

Chris Ramirez: it appears you are using Mozilla 1.1.  Mozilla 1.4 has been out 
for over a month at this point.  Please do not file bugs against old versions.

If you are using 1.4 and still seeing this problem, what are your settings for
  Preferences|Mail&Newsgroups|Send Format  ??

Please see these bugs: bug 157346, bug 187064.  (Read them carefully, they are 
somewhat confusing.)  If your problem is the same as one of those, please mark 
this bug as a duplicate of that one.
