When I imported my account from Outlook 2000 to thunderbird 0.1, the HTML e-mail
messages placed the Text of the message in a file called part1.1 and displayed
the images in the proper locations, but with a bar between each graphic, and
removed all the text.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have messages with HTML+images in OUtlook 2000
2. Use Mozilla Thunderbird Import messages
3. Messages with HTML+images appear improperly




I forwarded the message from Outlook through my account and Thunderbird opened
the message properly.

It ain't just Outlook 2000. I am running Outlook XP over here, and no matter 
what I do, all formatted emails get converted into nearly unreadable, 
unformatted junk.

This is a major bug as far as I'm concerned. I want to switch from Outlook, but 
I would like to be able to import my last 6 months of email.

Any new emails are received properly, but all imported emails don't work. I 
have tried to do a workaround suggested somewhere online of first importing the 
emails into Outlook Express, but this doesn't work much better.

My previous comment was about version 0.9 and 0.8 of Thunderbird. My OS is 
Windows 2000 server (but I doubt that that matters).
