User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 If I have an existing Firebird window open, let's say to http://www.mozilla.org, and I'm reading my email, and someone sends me a link to http://www.slashdot.org, when I click on the link, Firebird pops up and reuses the already existing window instead of opening a new browser window with the new link. This could be a problem in cases where I was filling in a form at the first URL, and I was trying to look up information at a second different URL. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open, by any means, a browser window to any URL (URL-A). 2. From the address toolbar in Windows2000, type a new URL (URL-B) and press enter. Alternatively, click on any link in another application, such as email or a word processing document. 3. The existing Firebird window will popup and replace URL-A with URL-B instead of opening a new window. Actual Results: The URL that I was browsing was replaced with the contents of the new URL. Expected Results: It should have opened a new window so that I could browse URL-A and URL-B side by side and not lose my work in URL-A. Internet Explorer implements this feature by having a checkbox in it's Advanced Preferences called "Reuse Windows for Launching Shortcuts". If this box is OFF, then the desired behavior is exhibited.
