User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030729 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030729 When opening and closing the Bookmark tab in the Sidebar, sometimes when closing a bookmark folder, that action results in a display corruption. The display corruption consists of a number of blank bookmarks. The bookmarks are clickable and reacts to the mouse, i.e. you can select an empty bookmark item. I've seen this behaviour for a while now, probably this is a regression. I am attaching a screen shot of the display corruption. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the bookmark tab in the sidebar. 2. Open and close folders. Actual Results: Display corruption as indicated by the attached screen shot. Expected Results: No display corruption.
Summary: closing a bookmark folder in bookmark sidebar sometimes results in display corruption → closing a bookmark folder in bookmark tab in sidebar sometimes results in display corruption
still seeing this in build 2003073110.
Cannot reproduce in 1.4 final. Seems more and more like a regression to me.
Hmmm... I've found this in an other place now, namely the "Customize sidebar" window. So, it seems like it is a generic problem with list boxes in Mozilla. And a pretty annoying regression. I will attach a screen shot from the "Customize sidebar" display corruption. As I don't know which component I should place this bug in, I am putting it in Browser-General.
Component: Bookmarks → Browser-General
Keywords: regression
Seems to happen when you've opened some bookmark folders and have scrolled down a bit so that the bookmarks at the top isn't visible. And then close the bookmark folder.
