Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 This occurs in the browser, the mail/news app, as well as composer. It occurs in every Mozilla window -- but no other windows of any other apps that I have, nor any folders or system dialogues. The use of the Trackpoint (IBM Thinkpad keyboard embedded "mouse") scroll feature (push and hold the extra "scroll" button and push the trackpoint up or down) fails. Only a beep occurs when you try to scroll the scrollable window. This was broken in 1.3, but I thought it might be fixed in 1.4 - it hasn't been. Similar to 182345, but not the same. Perhaps this feature was deliberately turned off to prevent the problems under 182345? This is a major user interface problem. Obviously there is a constant need for window scrolling when using Mozilla. I have tried changing the "mousewheel" settings in the Pref page, no joy. I am running the standard IBM Single Mouse driver with eComStation 1.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mozilla 2. Move to a scrollable window 3. Try to scroll with the Trackpoint Actual Results: A "beep" occurs, there is no scrolling Expected Results: The window scrolls.
