User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 You can delete a book mark without going into manage bookmarks but if you delete a bookmark that way you will have to restart the browser to access a piticular folder such as ie favourites----- Simply open bookmarks right click and delete item boonmarks will close, when opened again you can not access the IE favourites folder untill you close the browse. Hope this is useful. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Glad I searched everywhere for this bug report; it's incorrectly in the Browser product instead of firebird since Mozilla 1.4 doesn't have right-click on the bookmark menu... It would be nice to have this fixed. :)
This sounds just like one that I experience. There were a couple bookmarks in a bookmark folder that I wanted to delete. I right-clicked on one and selected delete. That seemed to go well, but... I went back to that same folder to delete another bookmark, but the folder would not expand. Another folder would expand, so I deleted a bookmark out of there just to test... It also deleted, but upon a second attempt into that folder, it also fails to expand. It seems to only affect the expanding of the folder from which you've already deleted a bookmark. The only way I've found to fix it is to close and restart Firebird. This is with Firebird 0.6.1 running on (don't laugh) Win98 4.10.2222A

This report is more than a year old, and it looks like the problem has long since been fixed. It was *probably* a dupe of bug 210910 (or a closely related bug), so that's how I'll resolve it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 210910 ***
