User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 In the File menu, when Firebird launches and opens a browser window, the New menu simply says "New Window" with "New Tab" after it. If you close the browser window, the New menu changes behavior and becomes a hierarchial menu with similar subitems "New Navigator Window", "New Navigator Tab". Choosing the latter does nothing...because there is no window open. New Navigator Window opens a new browser as expected. My opinion is that the menu should 1) retain behaviors no matter whether a window is open or not and 2) the Tab menu should be dimmed if there is no browser window open. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firebird 2. Make note of the File menu's New command. 3. Close the browser window that opened after launch. 4. Note how the New menu has changed into a hierarchial menu. Actual Results: The New command under the File menu changed it's behavior, from a typical menu item to a hierarchial menu. Expected Results: The menu should remain unchanged...either as a hierarchial menu or a standard item.
