wfm with win2k build 20030815.. Could be the yesterday fixed topcrash bug ...
just tested with a Windows version on Mozilla... 2002071814 build and it works. looks like it might be platform specific (ie Linux build)
tested with Linux 2003081422 build and it crashes.
Works fine for me - Linux, and mozilla cvs 20030814. Reporter, check your font settings. Provide a debug stack trace as per the linux mozilla FAQ
Attached file testcase —
testcase crashes linux trunk 2003081205 and current CVS
Attached file stacktrace —
###!!! ASSERTION: font metrics should not be null - bug 136248: 'NS_SUCCEEDED(rv)', file nsDeviceContext.cpp, line 706 ###!!! ASSERTION: no font metrics: 'nsnull != aFontMetrics', file nsHTMLReflowState.cpp, line 2259
note that this is not with an xft-enabled build (which often crashes with the same stack signature) ==> layout/fonts
