Crashes on launch under a Power-User profle, even after fresh install and 
reboot. Works fine as Administrator.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Firebird in new directory
2. Switch to a power-user profile
3. Launch Firebird

Actual Results:  
crashes on launch

Expected Results:  
to work.

Reporter, have you tried using a current nightly build?  If not, please wait for
the 08/16 build or later as one crash bug like this was recently fixed.  Also,
if you create a new profile under the power user account does this work?

Solved.
I found reference in the forums
(http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=20139) that it's really
an issue with too many IE favorites.

I moved my favorites folder to an empty directory and it's now working.
