Ooops, I accidentally pressed return upon writing this report. So this got an empty comment #0. Sorry for that... (?!#$! notebook keyboard...) Steps to reproduce: 1. Send yourself an email that starts with a parenthesis in the Subject to an IMAP-account. 2. Receive this email. Result: Everything after the opening parenthesis isn't displayed in the message list until there is a closing parenthesis. In the message view the whole Subject line is displayed. Expected result: Display the whole subject line in the message list also. The bug only occurs with IMAP-accounts. I tested this with Thunderbird 20030808 on Linux and Mozilla 20030812 on Windows XP.
