Installed the latest kernel 2.4.20-20.9 from redhat and the composer stops
working also, server settings are lost

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install kernel
2. open mozilla and try to compose a message it reports an error.
3. checking the server settings they are now blank

Actual Results:  
Can not compose a message

Expected Results:  
Should be able to compose a message

Running the old kernel solved the issue.
please report the actual error message
Severity: critical → major
After second reboot of the new kernel it mysteriously went away.
