Every time I hit a mailto: link in Mozilla, it opens your mail application with
a two-year-old and bad E-mail address I used to have.
I cannot find anyplace to change the address. More to the point, I would just as
soon use my own favorite E-mail application (Eudora) and not add a seperate
E-mail account.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Send me a web page with an E-mail link.
2.I will click on the link, and your E-mail client will open with the bad return
address.
3.I have to type the correct return address in and hope that it will show up in
the sent message.
4. Sometimes I try to work through the Preferences to find a way to change
either the return address or the default E-mail client.
Actual Results:
Can't find out how to do that, so I generally COPY the E-mail link, open Eudora,
and manually send a message.
Expected Results:
Either allow me to change my return E-mail address or, in Preferences, allow me
to use whatever E-m ail client I have specified in my OS X System Preferences
under Internet.
Don't be like Microsoft and its "dogfood" philosophy---prejudiced toward its own
software. I already use two E-mail programs (Eudora, backed up by
Entourage)...don't want a third. Your browser is really, really cool.
