ok so go at the specified url
then in section "How to get fetchmail" try to 'save as' the file hyperlinked as
"detached GPG signature" in the directory of your choice
the download should be done without any problem ... except the fact if u go
in the directory and try to look for the file downloaded , it s just not here !
question : what happened ? ;)
u can try this too :
grab the entire url of the file , put it in the url bar , load it then try to
save the page as ... and check whether or not the page is really saved or not
... u guessed it , it isn t saved too ( for me at least ) .
then i tried to do
wget http://catb.org/~esr/fetchmail/fetchmail-6.2.4.tar.gz.asc
( next to wget is the url of the file )
which perfectly works ...
regards
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Expected Results:
i should have been able to find the downloaded file in the directory i
downloaded it ;)

The .gz.asc file has "Content-Encoding: x-gzip", which appears to be the cause
of the problem. Grabbing "checksums", which is does not have gzip content
encoding, works fine.
