In the website Guardian Unlimited (www.guardian.co.uk), the links 'sign-in &
register' are unavailable. So cannot complete the forms to register or sign-in
to the website.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on bookmarks to open a page for Guardian Unlimited.
2. Once opened, click on the links "Sign in", so I can be logged on.
3. Then it is redirected to another web page, I think with some sort 'javascript
problem'.
Actual Results:
I get a white blank page with this information:
/Users/signin/0,12930,-1,00.html
In the top left-hand corner. Also the URL will contain the following info:
javascript:URLStack_push(document.location);location.href='/Users/signin/0,12930
,-1,00.html'
Similar problem to be found if you want to regsiter.
Expected Results:
To sign-up, the URL should be:
http://users.guardian.co.uk/signin/0,12930,-1,00.html
The web page contains a form of text fields to enter details such as:
1. Email address
2. Password
3. Remember me
To register, the URL should be:
http://users.guardian.co.uk/register/1,12904,-1,00.html
It also contains a form of text fields that you fill in and they are:
1. Enter your email address.
2. Choose a password, re-enter password.
3. What country you live in.
4. UK or US users only postcode/zipcode:
Then other private info about marketing stuff to you..
Juggy, this is probably a duplicate of a well-known (and in the meanwhile
already fixed!) JavaScript problem. Please use a newer build and try again - at
least on my system using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.5b)
Gecko/20030828 Firebird/0.6.1+ it's working fine.
So you may either want to upgrade to the latest milestone:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firebird/releases/0.6.1/MozillaFirebird-0.6.1-win32.zip
or to the latest nightly build:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firebird/nightly/latest-trunk/MozillaFirebird-win32.zip
In the meanwhile I will check whether I get the same result with a build where
the above mentioned fix was not already implemented.

With an old version of Firebird (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US;
rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030519 Mozilla Firebird/0.6) I can reproduce the problem:
clicking in "Sign in" gives me a blank page with
/Users/register/1,12904,-1,00.html
on it!
=> Please update your version like mentioned in my previous comment!
