Following in Firebird's footsteps, we should enable popup blocking by default on
the trunk.

Reassigning obsolete bugs to their respective Seamonkey owners (i.e. nobody).
If you want this fixed for Firefox, change the Product and Component accordingly
and reassign back to me.

With the upcoming IE release also blocking popups by default is there any reason
not to do this? Reassign to Asa for a decision, either we'll do it or WONTFIX
the bug.

I guess we'd have to add in a first-blocked-popup dialog like Firebird or
failures would be too mysterious. Status bar notification should be on by
default as well.

The simplest solution would be to make that pref checkbox enabled when you get
the first time popup dialog that takes you to preferences. Even better would be
just setting the pref when the user OKs that first popup dialog and bypass the
prefs window alltogether.

I'm in agreement that we should find a way to make this better. I think
Firefox's implementation is about as good as we can get.
Not going to block on this but we'd consider a fully reviewed patch.

Popup blocking is definitely enabled by default now...
