There are times when it would be nice to delete comments that aren't appropriate
or was a mistake.  For example, I have email based append-bugs setup.  If a
person has his vacation program turned on and receives a bugzilla notification,
his vacation message will show up on the bugzilla ticket.  I have since cleaned
up  the email-append interface, but I'd like to easily remove the misc comments.

My suggestion is if you really need it, use phpMyAdmin.

I agree there are down sides as it could get abused.  The ability to edit
ones own comments would be good enough for me.  So I'll just close this as a
duplicate to bug 540.

bulk removing target on WONTFIX/INVALID/WORKSFORME/DUPLICATE so they'll show up
as untriaged if they get reopened.
