218478 - Upper and lower right hand MAIL screen divider breaks into vertical oscillation.

Open Mozilla to default page.  Click on the mail icon to bring up mail and the
line which divides the upper and lower right hand parts of the screen breaks
into vertical oscillation as as window Enter your Password appears.  The line
jumps up and down 2 or 3 lines at a rate of several dozen times per second. 
This paralyzes the computer, requiring a hard shut down.  Cannot click OK to get
computer to accept password, and cannot Cancel either.

Computer is a standard MSI MS-6368 Rev 5 mobo.  Nothing is tricky.  No other
problems with the computer.  Renders use of Mozilla mail impossible.  

(NOTE:  This problem also exists in Mozilla beta 1.5b.)

It acts as in message #201379 above, but I am using WinXP Pro on this machine. 
This problem does NOT occur on other WinXP machines I have tested at this location.

and it doesn't matter if you use WIn XP Pro, both are win32
