Message headers became duplicated and awithing to other folder or closing mail without closing browser doesnät help. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce:
WFM 20030912. Reporter, are you using IAMP or POP to access your e-mail?
I use Pop 3 protocol.
Hmm, never seen this with any of the builds I've used. Have you tried a completely new profile, or deleting your profile and starting again? This often gets rid of bugs.
Are you joking? How about formatting drive and so on? :) Maximum I do when I have some problems I delete cache files, sometimes manually.
does shutting down all of mozilla and restarting fix the problem?

Reporter, I'm sorry if my idea about your profile seems far-fetched. However, it does help to eliminate possibilities - I've had to do it more times than I care to remeber myself.
Summary: message heasders are duplicated → message headers are duplicated
Yes, restarting Mozilla made things ok.
I've caught at least once the moment of the duplication. I've tried to delete a message and Mozilla mail responded - the Inbox is being processed or accessed with another process. After closing the message box the headers became duplicated.
This still happens with 1.5 RC2 ! Maybe the problem can occure it I switch from by Date sorting mode to nodes mode and vise versa. And I've found 2 things: after message headers became duplicated Mozilla Mail doesn't get any new messages - it writes there are no any new meassages att the server (I know it's not so because of the check). Other thing is that after Mozilla restarts the column with number of unread/total messages displayes wrong values until I ask Mozilla to get new messages from the server.
Still present in 1.6 alpha.
