User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030917 Firebird/0.6.1+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030917 Firebird/0.6.1+

In Mozilla, the main page of the URL (http://derStandard.at) is displayed
correctly. In Firebird, the text is "mixed" together (like overlayed), and you
can't see the full page, just about 1/3 of it, and the footer bar is in the
middle of the page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open http://derStandard.at (main newspaper in austria)
2.
3.

Actual Results:
display incorrect

Expected Results:
mozilla displays fine, firebird not.
They're doing bad browser detection. If I change my Firebird UA string to a
Mozilla UA string, the page lays out fine.

You might write to the site and ask them to fix whatever scripts they're using
to do browser detection.

Summary: incorrect page display → derstandard.at - bad browser detect break display in Firebird (not in Mozilla Seamonkey)
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de-DE; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728
Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1
I get mangled display in SeaMonkey/trunk 20030923 (reloading the page fixes it!).
In Firebird (20030923, too) it's ok.

However, in both browsers the site rather isn't too wide...

Dup of bug 219693, which has a testcase. I don't think this is a browser
detection thing.
