User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; MyIE2; .NET CLR 1.0.3705) Build Identifier: Firebird 0.6.0 almost good view, no doctype declaration: bad view, defined doctype declaration: Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.see details 2.view html code both pages in details 3.see differences between first strings in these files Actual Results: spacing between images, separated by <br /> Expected Results: no this space
i'm sorry, forgotten links: first link, where invalid displaying: http://mecto.net/mozilla/home.html second link, acceptable displaying: http://mecto.net/mozilla/home-good.html
I think you have those backward. The one you say is invalid works (the one with a doctype); the one you are saying works is broken (the one w/o doctype). Mozilla will render differently (in quirks mode) when no doctype is present. Given that the page works with the doctype (in standards mode), what exactly is the bug? This is not a blocker. This is not a Firebird specific bug. ->Browser/Layout

Actually, both pages work decently enough. If image spacing is the issue, you're probably running into the images within tables rendering thing: http://devedge.netscape.com/viewsource/2002/img-table/
