Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
When a popup window with fixed width and visible scrollbar is open and the
preference "Advanced / Scripts & Plugins / Hide the status bar" is not checked,
then the right scrollbar gets truncated as the window gets resized smaller then
the given width during the window.open call.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure "Advanced / Scripts & Plugins / Hide the status bar" is unchecked
2. go to http://dillerpartner.at/~mfischer/pub/js/open_popup_resize.html
3. click on "Click to open popup" (the page itself is opened again, in the popup)
4. Resize (with the small handle in the lower right) the window smaller then
it's original width.
Actual Results:
The right scrollbar will get truncated until it completely disappears as the
window is getting smaller then it's original width.
The problem now is that also the status bar gets truncated. If you release the
mouse button now, you no longer can grab the resize handle and therefore can't
resize the window back.
Expected Results:
The right scrollbar should not be truncated.

Hmm, can't confirm my own bug, using
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113
MultiZilla/1.6.0.1g
Probably has been fixed. If anyone als can (dis)confirm this bug, it probably
can be resolved as fixed.

That's now being addressed in bug 205566

The window resizing grippy starts to be cut off, clipped as soon as the width of
the window gets smaller than 354 in Moz. 1.7. Breaking/critical value change
from releases to releases. I already mentioned that at
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27795#c44
For the vertical scrollbar issue, I also get the expected results with Moz 1.7
final release, therefore I'm resolving this as WORKSFORME
