221115 - Bookmarks disappear after using Bookmarks Manager

The bookmarks.html file disappears from Finder after editing Bookmarks using
Manage Bookmarks. If you make one change to the Bookmarks (by dragging or
deleting) the bookmarks.html file vanishes. If you make another change, it
reappears. Then another, it vanishes again - and so on. If you quit Mozilla
after an odd number of changes, the bookmarks file is lost. If you quit after an
even number, the file remains.

The bookmarks.html file is generally very unstable. If you double-click it, a
new window opens in Mozilla, listing all the bookmarks. When you close the
window and go back to the Finder, the file vanishes before your eyes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Choose Manage Bookmarks from Bookmarks menu
2.Drag a bookmark up or down the list
3.Close Bookmark Manager
4.Quit Mozilla
Actual Results:  
The bookmarks.html file had vanished from Finder window. When Mozilla was
relaunched, all the Bookmarks had gone.

Expected Results:  
Retained Bookmarks.

Bug continues in 1.6a release. This is probably a 10.1.x only bug. Updated to
10.3 yesterday and the problem is no more.

Another 10.1.5 user has mentioned possibly the same bug in another report:

I have reinstalled 10.1.5 on a separate partition for testing Mozilla. Most
people have moved on to either Jaguar or Panther but bugs in older versions seem
to be passing un-noticed.
