I am not sure this is in the right place.

I wish to use Outlook Express as the my e-mail client when clicking mail links
in Mozilla (my deafault browser).  This appears to be impossible from the UI.  I
think that it should be possible to pick what app is used for mail and
newsgroups from within in Mozilla.

My default mail client is set to OE
My default web browser is Mozilla.

Unrelated Note:  I want to use OE because I can have password protected
identities.  This computer is heavly shared.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set default mail program to Outlook Express in Windows.
2. Click Mail link in Mozilla 1.4.
3. Mozilla Opens



Expected Results:  
Mozilla should have opened Outlook Express.

Thanks to Joe Infla for the comment:
Right now there are a few different solutions... 
1. Use the installer to reinstall ONLY the browser component, not Mail & Newsgroups.
2. Try out Firebird instead.
3. Try out the extension at http://mozex.mozdev.org.
4. Set a (possibly buggy) pref: read bug 196798 fmi.
