User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624

I have had this problem before. A bookmark is saved. The browser is closed,
and when reopened, the saved bookmarks are gone. When this happened previously,
I got some great advice to delete the Mozilla folder in Documents and Settings,
then import my previously exported bookmarks. That worked, but then something
happened. I'm not sure what, but I know that XP locks up occasionally when
Mozilla is open, maybe that has something to do with it. In any case, my
bookmarks stay "frozen" and I can't add to them.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Save bookmarks. Close browser. Reopen browser, previously saved bookmarks
are gone. I still have bookmarks, I just can't save any more.
2.I delete the Mozilla folder in Documents and Settings, import saved bookmarks,
everything is fine for a while. Then the problem happens again, possibly after
Windoze XP locks up and I have to do a reset.

Actual Results:
Bookmarks I thought I saved are not saved.

Expected Results:
Saved my bookmarks.
Same bug in Mozilla 1.4, 1.5, 1.6a

Problem most probably due to unclosed file description used by another window
saving bookmark, and another trying to save to the same file.
This happened to me, but with more problems. When I re-open mozzila all my
bookmarks were gone, but I had recently backed them up. So I imported the
backup. Now the Personal Toolbar doesn't work at all. I have draging them on
and off again with no luck.
Seems to me this is a subset of bug 203343.

No response from reporter. So I will mark this old bug as dupe.
