User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031013 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031013 The address book selection in recent cvs builds seems to be broken. Address completion works fine, however if you are presented with a list of address selections to chose from, you cannot use the mouse pointer to select or scroll the list of presented addresses. It always closes the listbox selector. Using the keyboard arrow keys works fine in order to select an address. This is on a gtk1 build on Solaris. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn on address auto completion via personal address book or ldap 2. Type in a few letters of the address so multiple selections will appear 3. Try to select/scroll the list box that appears Actual Results: Unable to select or scroll the address selection listbox Expected Results: Be able to select an address from the listbox using the mouse
Confirmed; 20031014 Linux/x86, GTK2. Slight difference for me: I can *select* an address with the mouse provided it's listed on the first "page" of the scroll box, but I can't scroll, either by line or by page, using the mouse.

Interestingly, the problem does *not* exist in my Thunderbird build from the same sources (today's). I can scroll fine with the mouse in T-bird.
WFM with Build 2003102804 and Windows XP.
I believe this is a unix/linux only bug - i am still seeing it with todays build on both Solaris and Linux.
Confirmed bug still present, 20031117 Linux/x86, gtk2.
probablu a dup of bug 225893 which was checked in yesterday. Rebuilding from cvs and will confirm.
Confirmed fixed as part of bug 225893. Resolving as dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 225893 ***
