User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Some simple support for merging and sorting addresses would be useful. A means of finding/deleting an address from all address books would be great. I collect address books from multiple instances of Mozilla and keep several for different porpoises. The significant downside is that old addresses accumulate (are difficult/time consuming to find and remove from every address book) and appear in composition address expansion and tend to cause mis-addressing of mesages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. you@old.com in one address book 2. you@new.com in another address book 3. address a message to you (rudy). Actual Results: ``You'' is expanded to a pick list containing you@old.com and you@new.com and depending on how much attention you're paying to your typing... Expected Results: A means of deleting found entries in the address search tool would be cool. Extending address search to search multiple/all address books would be cool too (both would great).

Deleting found entries is a duplicate of bug 126331, searching multiple address books is bug 170270. Marking as duplicate of bug 170270, as that would probably be most useful in this case. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 170270 ***
