User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 select compose. click in body area. type "Thes" (without quotes). Click "Spell" button. Check Spelling box appears. Keep clicking down arrow of scroll bar on suggestion list. suggestion list disappears the replaces Thes with Hes (the first word in the suggestion list). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. select compose 2. click in body area 3. type "Thes" (without quotes) 4. Click "Spell" button 5. Check Spelling box appears 6. Keep clicking down arrow of scroll bar on suggestion list 7. suggestion list disappears the replaces Thes with Hes (the first word in the suggestion list). Actual Results: Step number 7 above happens Expected Results: The suggestion list should not disappear and replace a word when user scrolls by clicking down arrow of scroll bar. (Note that scrolling the suggestion list with the mouse wheel works as expected).
To be more precise this only happens on my Windows XP System, when you "double-click" on the scroll down button. If you spend enough time between two clicks (two single clicks) the scroller scrolls two times and there won't be a selection. BUG: It is missing that it has to be checked, if the doubleclick was on the scrollbar or in the list of possible replacements. When you "double-click" on the scrolling-down triangle of the scrolling bar- there should be a scrolling two times... but instead the selected word (in the given example: "Hes" the default selection) is taken as the replacement.

I can't reproduce w/ Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040321 If you want me to check wXP, I can. note that if i double click on the word instead of the scrollbar, it replaces the misspelled word, this is intentional. please indicate what themes you're using (wXP, mozilla, other). [I'm using high contrast black w/ small scrollbars, classic, no third party themes] double clicking the scrollbar down arrow works just like clicking twice.
