pdf files can not be saved. Verified it was not the browser with another browser
(tried many many pdfs at many many locations). In addition, i just reported a
bug that when i try to edit preferences:navigator:helper
applicaitons:application/pdf my browser crashes.

Note:I don't get a dialogue asking me where to put it

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.try to download any pdf
Actual Results:  
Error shortly after starting download of pdf "[file location].pdf could not be
saved, because an unknown error occured""

Expected Results:  
pdf downloaded, no sad error message

this is a dupe, not a dependency.  This describes the exact problem we're trying
to fix over there.
