User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 status bar just blinks on MouseOver(anyLink) with 'http://any.link', then switches to 'Done' immediately. This only happens on my second monitor (using Matrox Millenium G550 Dual Head). This is not a severe bug, but very annoying when debugging web pages - "workaround" is to keep the mouse pointer moving over the link and read the status bar very quickly... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start mozilla browser (experienced this problem on 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and firebird) on second monitor of a dual head system (win2000,MM G550) 2. move mouse over any hyperlink 3. watch status bar showing the href of the link (e.g. 'http://www.xyz.com') for some milliseconds, then switching to 'Done' Expected Results: show the href of the link permanently in the status bar while mouse is over the link - works fine in a browser window on the primary screen!
I notice this too. I'm on Windows with a Mobility Radeon 7500. The other weirdness I notice is that menus of all sorts, instead of continuously displaying the moused-over item in a darker color, only display it that way for an instant, then return to normal not-moused-over menu colors. I don't know if I should file a second bug on this.
