I have Mozilla set so that my reply appears above the original text. When I
want to respond to an email, I begin to respond to the email and my text appears
on top of the original email. My signature appears BELOW the original email
however! In a long email thread, this gets very confusing to the reader. Can
we set it so that there is an option to choose how the signature is appended?
Append immediately after your reply (like we can in MSOutlook), append at the
very end (like it occurs now), or maybe choose to have a signature appended if
you are replying to an email? Maybe the signature shows up only on original
emails (the ones that you compose)?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an HTML signature file.
2. Choose 'Edit' and then 'Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings'
3. Choose 'Attach Signature' and point to your signature file created in (1) above.
4. Select 'Composition & Addressing' under the 'Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings'.
5. Under 'Composition' section,
a. choose 'Compose Messages in HTML format'.
b. choose 'Automatically quote original message when replying'
(i) select 'Then start my reply above the quoted text'
6. Click OK.
7. Open any email you have received. Click either 'Reply' or 'Reply All'.
Actual Results:
Your message appears on the top of the email box but your signature appears
below the original message.
Expected Results:
Apply the signature together with your reply. That way, the receives to your
email message know YOU wrote that. A email response containing responses from
multiple people already will get more confusing with your response separate from
the signature.

Just use 1.6 alpha when it gets out (or a nightly right now)
