Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7
When I open a secure page like secure webmail and then start a new FireBird /
Mozilla browser window and go to the same URL the window will automaticly go to
the logged-in version. This is not really wanted because I think most people
want their session object locked in the same browser window.
For instance when you are moving details from one account to an other you want 2
browser windows next to each other and just copy them. Now I have to copy, close
session, start new session, paste, save, close session, start new session, copy,
etc....
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open webpage which requires login and writes a session-cookie
2. login
3. open a new browser (on windows from start, programs, mozillafirebird
,mozillafirebird)
4. navigate to the same url as which you have accuired above.
5. you automaticle logged in
Actual Results:
I am logged in without logging in
Expected Results:
Show the error page that you have not been logged-in yet
I tried it in MozillaFirebird 0.7 Mozilla 1.4 and mozilla 1.6a

I don't think this will be changed because this is what people expect. If you're
browsing a secure site and you press Open in New Window, you wouldn't expect to
have to log in again.
To solve your problem, can't you login, go to the details page, open a new
instance, go to the page, log out, then log in again?

I don't think this is what you expect. People excpect that when you are on a
webpage and in that browser you create a new browser window (cloning your
browser window.) You expect the same webpage to open, and not your home-page.
When my browser starts at the beginning I expect it to be empty.
When I complete start a new browser window (AKA
start-programs-mozillafirebird-mozillafirebird) I surely expect it to be empty.
All other browser have this functionality.
for instance IE, Opera, Avant-browser etc.
This only appears in Moz-clones as Firebird, mozilla and probably netscape.
Your solutions doesn't work if the details page consists of 2-layer deep details
(you click on a link to see more details about the clicked one!)
